A 19-year-old who was on bail for offences of robbery with violence, larceny, and shooting with intent was shot dead by a soldier during a joint police and military operation at his mother’s home on Wednesday afternoon.
Aaron Anderson was shot inside the house at Delhi Road, Fyzabad, and pronounced dead at hospital.

A police report said officers of the Home Invasion Team and members of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force went to the house around 4.27 p.m. to execute a search warrant for arms and ammunition.
