Morvant man dies in highway crash

A 46-year-old Morvant man was killed in the early hours of Saturday after the station wagon he was driving crashed into a lamp post along the Elmina Clarke Highway.

The deceased was identified as Anoy Campbell of Mon Repos Road, Morvant.

Police said that around 3.15 am, Campbell was driving a white AD Wagon west along the highway with 41-year-old Dion Hernandez of Saddle Road, Maraval, in the front passenger seat when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a lamp post on the southern side of the road.
