The coun­try’s mur­der count con­tin­ued to climb fol­low­ing the killing of a Co­corite man on Thurs­day night.

The vic­tim was iden­ti­fied as Johnathan Richard War­rick, 41, of Wa­ter­hole in Co­corite.

Po­lice re­ports said War­rick was stand­ing with oth­er peo­ple in an area com­mon­ly re­ferred to as “The Swamp” at Eth­lyn Trace in Co­corite, around 9.30 pm, when gun­men opened fire on the group.
