As thousands of students received the results of their CAPE and CSEC exams, Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training Prakash Persad commended them for their hard work and dedication while acknowledging the support of parents, teachers and school communities.
The Minister reminded students that their results are not the end of the educational journey but a starting point for further study, skills training or employment. He encouraged students to explore opportunities through tertiary institutions and technical and vocational training programmes based on their interests and career goals.
Students pursuing higher education are also being encouraged to explore Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses (GATE) tuition assistance, as well as available scholarships and bursaries, while checking official channels for current eligibility requirements and application deadlines.
