77-year-old Alan Ramirez was killed in a traffic accident along the Toco Main Road on Sunday morning.
Police said around 9 a.m., Ramirez was standing on the southern lane of the roadway near his home at 9mm Toco Main Road, awaiting transport to church, when a Nissan Navarra pickup veered off the road and struck him.
The vehicle, driven by a 37-year-old police constable was heading north when he reportedly lost control near a bridge and crashed on the eastern side of the roadway. Ramirez died at the scene.
