One man was shot and killed and another wounded in a shooting near Bon Air High School, Bon Air Gardens, Arouca, just before 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Residents told the Express they heard several gunshots around 9 a.m. coming from Woodstar Boulevard, which runs adjacent to the secondary school.

The dead man has been identified as Abdul Mohammed, an MTS worker from Maloney who worked as a groundsman at the school.
