A peace concert is scheduled to take place at the same playfield that Duvaughn Toussaint and Amelia Hernandez were shot and killed at Jade Court in Couva.
It is hoped that the concert will send messages of hope and take the stance for unity in the community.
President of the Couva Police Station Community Council (CPSCC), Bishop Ezekiel Clarke yesterday explained that the concert was organized after the double murder and the show was the brainchild of the 2026 Extempo Monarch Brian London whom he said had displayed great compassion and reached out to him the following day, on Carnival Saturday.
