Residents, including children who were mere metres away when Devaughn Toussaint and Amelia Hernandez were murdered at a play park in Jade Court, Lisas Gardens, on Friday afternoon, have been left traumatised.

Toussaint and Hernandez were shot and killed in the Couva settlement around 2.30 p.m. Toussaint was holding his three-year-old child when he was shot four times by a gunman, CCTV (closed-­circuit television) footage showed.
