Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgoās AmĀbasĀsador to CariĀcom, Ralph Maraj, is urgĀing the reĀgionĀal body to reĀspond to what he deĀscribes as seĀriĀous proĀceĀdurĀal conĀcerns surĀroundĀing the reapĀpointĀment of its SecĀreĀtary GenĀerĀal, warnĀing that conĀtinĀued siĀlence risks unĀderĀminĀing conĀfiĀdence in the inĀstiĀtuĀtion.
Maraj said there has been no reĀsponse from CariĀcom deĀspite obĀjecĀtions raised by Prime MinĀisĀter KamĀla PerĀsad-BissesĀsar and a forĀmal stateĀment in ParĀliaĀment by ForĀeign and CariĀcom AfĀfairs MinĀisĀter Sean Sobers.
