Prime MinĀisĀter KamĀla PerĀsad-BissesĀsar has made pubĀlic a letĀter by ForĀeign and CariĀcom AfĀfairs MinĀisĀter Sean Sobers to CariĀcom reĀgardĀing this counĀtryās atĀtenĀdance at any meetĀing to disĀcuss the reapĀpointĀment of SecĀreĀtary GenĀerĀal Dr CarĀla BarĀnett.
In a post on FaceĀbook yesĀterĀday, the Prime MinĀisĀter said that beĀcause the conĀtents of a letĀter datĀed April 8 to the Prime MinĀisĀter of St Kitts and Nevis, who is alĀso CariĀcom chairĀman, were leaked, she chose to share the deĀtails of a letĀter this counĀtry sent to CariĀcom sayĀing it would not atĀtend any talks. She alĀso called on the reĀgionĀal groupĀing to proĀvide the relĀeĀvant docĀuĀmenĀtaĀtion on the matĀter.
She said, āWhile the docĀuĀmenĀtaĀtion is beĀing gathĀeredā¦can someĀone in CariĀcom alĀso speak to the CariĀcom SecĀreĀtariĀat about the comĀmuĀniĀcaĀtions on the mornĀing of the reĀtreat disĀinvitĀing MinĀisĀter Sobers from the meetĀing.ā
