Siparia Mayor Doodnath Mayrhoo is appealing to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) to intervene and bring ease to residents of Ackbar Trace and St John’s Village in Fyzabad, where communities have been overrun by cattle.
Mayrhoo, a resident of Ackbar Trace and the local government representative for the area, says he has also suffered due to the uncontrolled issue.
In a telephone interview with the Express yesterday, he reported that while several complaints had been received at the Siparia Borough Corporation, the Corporation does not have the responsibility for removing stray animals.
