All Souls’ Day: Families Remember Loved Ones At Lapeyrouse Cemetery

Today is All Souls’ Day, a Christian day of prayer and remembrance for the faithful departed.

TTT News visited the Lapeyrouse Cemetery and spoke with those gathered as they cleaned and spruced up the final resting places of their loved ones.

Among them was Brother Jacelon, who fondly remembered his father as one of the best men he had ever known. He expressed gratitude for all his father had done for him throughout his life. While acknowledging the finality of the grave, Brother Jacelon said his faith reminds him that there is still hope beyond death, offering comfort and reassurance to those left behind.
