The Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Division of Food Security has announced a significant increase in the price of eggs sold at Government Farms, citing rising production costs and the need to align with current market conditions.
In a media release dated February 19, 2026, the Division advised that effective March 2, 2026, the price of eggs will move from $7.00 per dozen to $15.00 per dozen.
“The Division of Food Security advises the public that effective March 2, 2026, the price of eggs sold at Government Farms will be adjusted from $7.00 per dozen to $15.00 per dozen,” the release stated.
