PM Hints At October Budget Presentation

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar SC has hinted that the 2026/27 budget presentation could take place in October.
Addressing recently confirmed Permanent Secretaries on Thursday, the Prime Minister stressed that these senior public officials would play a critical role in the upcoming budget exercise.
She confirmed that Ministries are already preparing budget proposals and documents, adding that the annual budget process would continue into October.
