Man drowns off Guayaguayare coast

A 46-year-old man drowned while fishing at Pt. Galeota Road, Guayaguayare, police reported.

Authorities said Ramdath Pana was with a friend, Lalchan Hardial, around noon on Friday when he went into the water to cast a fishing net.

Hardial walked out about 600 feet and left Pana on the shore.
