A post-mortem is expected to be performed today at the Forensic Science Centre, Federation Park, on the body of 30-year-old Darrina “Darri Boss” Dow, who was shot and killed near her home at Maraj Street, Pasea, Tunapuna, on Saturday night.
When the Express visited the area yesterday, several men liming near the bar where Dow was ambushed said they did not know her very well. Throughout the brief conversation, the men kept their heads lowered. One of them said he had known Dow “for a few years in passing,” and that she had begun renting an apartment in the area “a few years ago,” where she lived with her young son.
“She was cool,” he said, but added that he could not say much more about her as they were not close.
