The PNM is not concerned about any possible legal challenges that may come from the UNC with respect to the transfer of the prime ministership from Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley to Stuart Young.
“We know what we are doing and I am not going to speculate (on possible challenges)...We will go along with the course and...one thing I’ll say about us, we will always follow the law,” party chairman and Energy Minister Young said at a news conference following yesterday’s meeting of the party’s General Council at PNM headquarters in Port of Spain.
Before the General Council meeting, the PNM Screening Committee screened and selected Marisha Duncan-Alvarado as the candidate for Tabaquite, completing the selection of its 41 candidates.
