Newly appointed Central Bank governor Larry Howai said he will not be breaching the confidentiality requirements of the organisation.
He made the statement while speaking to Newsday on June 26, his first day in the office after being appointed to the position.
“Certainly, I would say I am not giving names to anybody. It’s not a question of us breaching our confidentiality requirements. For example, the policy makers may wish to know how much of foreign exchange goes to retail industry as opposed to how much goes to manufacturing as opposed to the services sector and so on.
