Six peo­ple were ar­rest­ed for var­i­ous of­fences dur­ing an­ti-crime ex­er­cis­es yes­ter­day, con­duct­ed by of­fi­cers of the East­ern and To­ba­go Di­vi­sions.

In the first ex­er­cise, of­fi­cers of the Rio Claro po­lice sta­tion were car­ry­ing out road check du­ties on Mon­day (June 9, 2025) be­tween 2:20 am and 6:50 pm, when they stopped a black Hyundai Elantra mo­tor ve­hi­cle, with two oc­cu­pants.

A search of the ve­hi­cle re­sult­ed in the un­earthing of one pis­tol, two mag­a­zines and a to­tal of 32 rounds of am­mu­ni­tion.
