A 34-year-old police constable has been charged with misbehaviour in public office following a police investigation into the alleged theft of more than $127,000 from the Besson Street Police Station.
The constable’s 24-year-old son was also charged with the alleged theft of the money.
Both appeared before a Master at the Port of Spain Hall of Justice earlier today. The charges were laid by Inspector Cadette of the Port of Spain Division.
