KINGSTON, Jamaica — Shane Cunningham had never bought a Domino’s pizza before this year. By the time the 2026 FIFA Tournament wrapped, he’d topped an island-wide leaderboard of thousands to walk away with the campaign’s grand prize: one full year of free Domino’s pizza.
The 19-year-old signed up for scorebigja.com, Domino’s Jamaica’s interactive score-and-prediction platform, without much expectation beyond following the tournament with friends. What he brought instead was a method. Backing France from the group stage onward, Cunningham built each prediction from research rather than instinct.
“I look at those teams’ last games and see how they play, look at the chances that they miss and the chances that they get,” he said, describing how he’d break down recent form before locking in a pick. He played the same way through the group stage, the knockout rounds and the final tally, never switching approach, never chasing a hot streak.
