Woman blindfolded, raped and sodomised by home intruder in Moruga

A young woman was blindfolded and sexually assaulted in her home by an intruder who claimed someone had sent him to kill her.
Police said the attack occurred on May 16 in Moruga. The assailant entered the victim's home by removing three louvre blades from a window.
The 26-year-old woman told police she had retired to bed around 11 pm, but was awakened shortly afterwards by a man's voice.
