THE mother of a 21-year-old woman who was found dead in a car in Blanchisseuse four years ago has been granted leave to pursue judicial review proceedings against the Office of the Commissioner of Police.
Permission to file the claim was granted on Wednesday to retired nurse and former office manager Rosanna Smith by Justice Avason Quinlan-Williams after the woman was repeatedly denied details by police related to the investigation into her daughter's death.
She is represented by attorneys Martin George and Sarah Lawrence of Martin George & Co.
