ALMOST one year after 25-yearold businesswoman Carissa Ramrattan was gunned down in daylight near a busy shopping mall in San Fernando, her family has no answers, and is still waiting for justice.

Ramrattan, who had been married for just one year, was ambushed and fatally shot on July 11, 2024, in what police initially believed to be a robbery.

She had gone to Toyota Trinidad Ltd at South Park with her brother and sister to service her vehicle and was returning from South Park Mall, where she had gone to get something to eat.
