MANCHESTER, Jamaica— The two men who died in a three-vehicle crash on the New Forest main road in south Manchester Wednesday morning have been identified.
Police named the men as Phillip Beharie, a resident of Duff House in Manchester and Meldon Knibbs, a resident of Plowden district, also in Manchester.
A police report said about 7:20 am a Honda Vezel motorcar, driven by a 21-year-old woman, overtook a Toyota RAV4 motorcar resulting in a head on collision with a motorcycle. Police said Beharie was the driver of the motorcycle while Knibbs was the pillion. Both men were flung from the motorcycle upon impact.
