THE SON of trade unionist Michael Annisette was shot and killed on Friday when he and two others were ambushed in Sangre Chiquito, Sangre Grande.
Police said that, around 2.55 p.m. on Friday, Micah Annisette, 31, was the back-seat passenger of a Toyota Axio which was being driven by one man while there was another in the front passenger seat.
Police said that residents of the Eastern Main Road, Sangre Chiquito, heard several gunshots around 2.55 p.m. and saw the Toyota Axio reversing along the main road while a silver wagon was seen pursuing it. The driver of the Axio however slammed the car into a building near Sand Road which brought it to a stop.
