Outgoing Indian High Commissioner Honoured At Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

Member of Parliament for Couva South, Barry Padarath, used his Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on Saturday to express gratitude to High Commissioner of India to T&T, Dr. Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit, for his contributions to the country during his tenure, as the diplomat prepares to take up a new posting in Bahrain later this month.

The event, hosted at the Couva South Multi-Purpose Hall, is expected to have been one of Dr. Rajpurohit’s final official engagements in T&T before his departure.

MP Padarath thanked Dr. Rajpurohit for strengthening ties between India and T&T and highlighted several initiatives supported through that partnership.
