The San Fernando Hill has been added to the available venues in the city to host events during the upcoming Carnival season.
This follows an announcement by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar last month that due to excessive noise and damage to the facility, no fetes would be allowed at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
But San Fernando Mayor Robert Parris responded to an outcry by fete promoters, saying Skinner Park in San Fernando and other venues would be made available.
