A businessman was yesterday sentenced to four years’ hard labour for possession for an unauthorised gun.

His attorneys told the court he had it to protect his family, as they had faced home invasions and robberies in the past.

Isiah Jobe was sentenced by Justice Lisa Ramsumair-Hinds, who made reference to the law.
