An Ari­ma woman is ex­pect­ed to be charged with forgery and ut­ter­ing a forged doc­u­ment to the T&T Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS) when she ap­plied to be­come a po­lice of­fi­cer sev­en years ago.

Po­lice said the woman ap­plied to join the TTPS in 2018 when she sub­mit­ted sev­er­al doc­u­ments, in­clud­ing her Caribbean Ex­am­i­na­tions Coun­cil (CXC) cer­tifi­cates.

How­ev­er, as of­fi­cers re­cent­ly be­gan re­view­ing ap­pli­cants, they no­ticed that there were sev­er­al dis­crep­an­cies in the cer­tifi­cate pro­vid­ed.
