A San Fernando man was granted bail with surety of $150,000 after being charged in connection with fraudulent vehicle documents.
Visham Ramdhanie, 41, faces two counts of Possession of a Forged Document and two counts of Uttering a Forged Document. He appeared before Master Rehanna Hosein at the Tunapuna Master’s Court on Monday, pleading not guilty to all charges. He was ordered to report weekly to the San Fernando Police Station between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., He was reappear in court on March 5, 2026.
The charges stem from an incident on October 24, 2024, when Transport Division officers stopped a vehicle along the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway. The vehicle allegedly had irregular window tint and front light bars. The driver produced documents claiming to be issued by the Licensing Division authorising the modifications. Subsequent checks revealed the documents were fraudulent.
