(Kaieteur News) – The Guyana Police Force (GPF) has seized six cutlasses and other items of evidential value as investigations continue into the gruesome murder of six-year-old Orlando Jaikarran, whose badly decomposed body was found in a canal at Waterloo Street, Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice.
The child’s father, Bharrat Jaikarran, reportedly confessed to the killing, sending shockwaves through his family, the community and the wider nation.
Kaieteur News was informed that the elder Jaikarran is expected to make his first court appearance by the end of this week.
