BUSINESS representatives from across the country have welcomed the Prime Minister’s announcement of a National Recruitment Drive to fill over 20,000 jobs, describing it as a major step toward strengthening economic activity and national confidence.
“The creation of employment in the country is most important for the stimulation of the economy,” said the San Juan Business Association president Abrahim Ali.
He added, “While CEPEP and URP were creating short term employment, these jobs are not adequate to support families.”
