Police arrested three men and recovered three vehicles, including two luxury cars, during an intelligence-led operation in Cunupia. Between 3:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on June 3rd, 2026, officers of the HomeInvasion Team, Multi-Operational Police Service (MOPS), and the Anti-Extortion Unit conducted an intelligence-led exercise in the Central Division.
Acting on information relating to firearms, ammunition, and stolen vehicles, officers proceeded to an address along Chin Chin Road, Cunupia. There, they met a 26-year-old resident of the address, another 26-year-old man from the same address, and a 28-year-old man of Cutbutt Circular, Diego Martin, and informed them of their intention to conduct a search.
A comprehensive search of the premises was conducted; however, no illegal firearms were found. Officers then turned their attention to three vehicles on the property and informed the men of their intention to inspect them. The officers then sought to verify the registration plates of a black BMW, a red BMW, and a white Nissan Sylphy through the South and Central Operations Centre.
