FORMER minister of youth development and national service Foster Cummings has rejected allegations by Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Phillip Watts of mismanagement, misuse, and abuse of public funds under his former ministry.
Cummings was speaking yesterday at a news conference at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition on Charles Street in Port of Spain, where he addressed several allegations made by Watts in the House of Representatives on Monday.
Watts said that Cummings hired 61 people, many of whom were well-known PNM affiliates, on short-term contracts between the period January to April of this year, without proper process.
