TWENTY-ONE Trinidad and Tobago nationals currently in the custody of United States immigration are scheduled to be deported to this country on Friday on a charter flight, the Ministry of Homeland Security disclosed yesterday.
This follows the deportation on March 28 of 11 T&T nationals, ten men and one woman, from the United States by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.
Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander told the Sunday Express yesterday that the deportees will be interviewed upon arrival in Trinidad and Tobago, in coordination with the Attorney General, to ensure accurate records are kept on them.
