Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Operations, Curt Simon, has ordered an audit into all police uniforms, vehicles and computers belonging to the T&T Police Service (TTPS).
Simon’s decision came after police officers assigned to the Guard and Emergency Branch (GEB), located at Garden Road in Aranguez, San Juan, reported uniforms and other items being stolen from their lockers in the last week.
The most recent incident was reported on Wednesday, after a police constable at the Aranguez location found his locker broken into and several items missing.
