After 23 years in the making, direct passenger and cargo flights between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago should begin soon.
So said Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan and Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development in the Federal Republic of Nigeria Festus Keyamo, who signed a bilateral Air Services Agreement to allow direct travel on the airbridge, at the VIP Lounge at Piarco International Airport yesterday.
Also in attendance were Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs Dr Amery Browne, Minister in the Ministry of Works and Transport Richie Sookhai, former chairman of the Standing Negotiating Committee on Air Services Agreements Anthony Vieira.
