EXPECT some “serious revelations” out of the 2024 Auditor General’s report, which must be laid in Parliament before going public, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has said.
The PM dropped the hint as she fielded questions following Thursday’s post-Cabinet news conference but declined to speak further on the report, stressing that the document must first be laid in the Parliament.
Persad-Bissessar said the Auditor General’s report for the last fiscal year has been forwarded to the Parliament and to the Minister of Finance.
