SpeakĀing at the Red House yesĀterĀday afĀter signĀing the conĀdoĀlence book alongĀside OpĀpoĀsiĀtion Leader PenĀneĀlope BeckĀles and othĀer PeoĀpleās NaĀtionĀal MoveĀment (PNM) memĀbers, Browne paid tribĀute to Teemalās calm and digĀniĀfied presĀence in the SenĀate.
āItās very unĀforĀtuĀnate that in the last few months of his serĀvice, he, along with othĀer memĀbers of the inĀdeĀpenĀdent bench, was the reĀcipĀiĀent of very unĀfair, derogaĀtoĀry, denĀiĀgratĀing atĀtacksānot one-off, but conĀsisĀtentācomĀing from the UnitĀed NaĀtionĀal ConĀgress, their pubĀlic reĀlaĀtions ofĀfiĀcer, and othĀer leadĀing figĀures in the UNC,ā Browne said.
