WATSON DUKE, once the combative face of Trinidad and Tobago's public sector workers and a politician representing the people of Tobago, has confirmed reports that he has been hired by the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGC).
'Thank you NGC for the opportunity to serve Trinidad and Tobago via one of the top premier state companies,' he wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday night.
Duke, Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) political leader and the former president of the Public Services Association (PSA), attached a media report in which he is reported saying he had been employed by the company and assigned to the Cove Industrial Estate in Tobago-a State enterprise in which NGC is a key infrastructural partner. The report stated that Duke would be offering advice on 'human resource and industrial relations issues,' in both Trinidad and Tobago.
