The Opposition People’s National Movement (PNM) stormed out of the Parliament yesterday following the defeat of its private members motion to hold the Government accountable for rising unemployment.
Outrage broke out in the Red House, Port of Spain, as House Speaker Jagdeo Singh was proceeding to put the motion to a vote and close the debate.
It ended in a walk-out led by Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles.
