A joint law en­force­ment op­er­a­tion in Pa­lo Seco on Wednes­day, re­sult­ed in the seizure of co­caine and Colom­bian mar­i­jua­na val­ued at more than $292 mil­lion.

The ex­er­cise was co­or­di­nat­ed by na­tion­al se­cu­ri­ty agen­cies and led by the elite Vet­ted Unit, with sup­port from of­fi­cers of the South-West­ern Di­vi­sion.

Po­lice said the dis­cov­ery was made at a con­cealed stash site, fol­low­ing overnight sur­veil­lance of the re­mote area.
