Turn the Global Super League into the Guyana Super League

(Kaieteur News) – Dem Boys Seh let we stop pretending. The Global Super League sound impressive, but a tournament does not become “global” simply because the word global is printed on the poster. If the world’s leading T20 teams are not coming, if the television audience is not massive, and if the tournament is never going to eclipse the Caribbean Premier League, then perhaps is time to stop trying to make it something it clearly is not.

Dem Boys seh: turn it around. Instead of pouring money into a tournament chasing an international audience that apparently does not know it exists, reconceptualise it as a National Super League—a serious, properly organised Guyanese T20 competition designed to develop Guyanese cricket.
