The Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS) has been high­ly com­mend­ed by their In­di­an coun­ter­parts for their han­dling of the se­cu­ri­ty lo­gis­tics dur­ing the brief vis­it by In­di­an Prime Min­is­ter Naren­dra Mo­di, to this coun­try from Ju­ly 3 and 4.

In a re­lease is­sued yes­ter­day, the TTPS said the com­men­da­tion came from the Di­rec­tor of In­dia’s elite Spe­cial Pro­tec­tion Group (SPG), Alok Shar­ma, as well as, In­spec­tor Gen­er­al, Ra­jiv Ran­jan Bha­gat.

Con­vey­ing these sen­ti­ments to Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice (CoP) Al­lis­ter Gue­var­ro and As­sis­tant Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice (Spe­cial Branch), Ter­rence Pierre, the In­di­an del­e­ga­tion ex­pressed their sin­cere ap­pre­ci­a­tion to the TTPS for its out­stand­ing op­er­a­tional plan­ning and pro­fes­sion­al­ism, which en­sured the high-lev­el en­gage­ment was ex­e­cut­ed with­out in­ci­dent.
