(Kaieteur News) – The new market facility planned for Pouderoyen, Region Three, a project undertaken by the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development will cost at least $1 billion.
This is according to bids submitted to the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB). The project has attracted 33 contractors and is divided into three lots.
No engineer’s estimate was stated by NPTAB, but contractors who tendered for all three lots bid between $1,081,163,686 and $2,349,261,188 to execute the works.
