Firefighters of the Guyana Fire Service responded to a building fire at Lots 38–39 Robb Street, Robb Street, Georgetown, at about 19:00h on Friday evening.
According to a report posted on the Fire Service’s social media page, firefighters arrived on the scene and observed smoke emanating from the first floor of the building. The responding team according to the GFS quickly gained access through the ground floor and worked to contain the blaze.
The fire was brought under control following the intervention of the firefighters.
