THE Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) yesterday urged citizens to remain calm and shop responsibly, assuring that there is no threat to the nation’s food supply or supermarket operations.
The advice came as the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF) was placed on high alert and restricted leave placed on police officers.
In a statement, the SATT said its members remain well stocked, and supply chains across the country continue to function normally despite recent developments that have led to heightened security measures.
