Act­ing Deputy Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice (DCP) for Op­er­a­tions, Curt Si­mon, who served as the Gold Com­man­der for the 2025 Gen­er­al Elec­tions, says he is sat­is­fied with the over­all con­duct of the elec­torate and has com­mend­ed the Po­lice Ser­vice for what he says were its “ef­fec­tive se­cu­ri­ty op­er­a­tions”.

“The elec­toral process un­fold­ed in a man­ner that al­lowed the pub­lic to ex­er­cise their fran­chise freely and safe­ly. We saw democ­ra­cy at work,” DCP (Ag.) Si­mon stat­ed in a re­lease.

“We are pleased with the lev­el of co­op­er­a­tion from cit­i­zens who ex­er­cised great re­straint and mu­tu­al re­spect, al­low­ing the de­mo­c­ra­t­ic process to take its course,” he said.
