KINGSTON, Jamaica — Amber Group has announced the appointment of Shantole Thompson as chief communications and media officer, effective August 3, 2026.

In a release on Tuesday, the group shared that Thompson will lead its communications strategy, public relations and media engagement across Jamaica and its international markets, with a focus on raising the visibility of Amber’s innovation, people, partnerships, global operations, and philanthropic work.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dushyant Savadia said: “Amber continues to grow and expand its footprint internationally, and it is equally important that we strengthen how we tell our story.
